Organic Garden was established in October 2011 to promote and encourage the establishment of local certified market gardens in peri-urban environments. Located at beautiful Mount Tamborine, Organic Garden provides over 30 quality and seasonal European & Asian vegetables to the local community. We are constantly experimenting with new varieties for colour, taste and aroma.

Certified In-Conversion through NASAA (#4242), Organic Garden is focussed on more than just being chemical free (a common practice with most organic food producers). Our soils are comprehensively soil tested to identify and replenish the mineral nutrients deficient in our soil. Despite being purportedly fertile volcanic soils, these soils still need to be enhanced in order to produce quality food.

In addition, each of the beds are aerated, composted and rotated to provide all the opportunities for the soil biology to assist the vegetables to uptake vitamins and essential amino acids. These and many other organic compounds cannot be ignored when building a healthy immune system. As the old adage says “you are what you eat”.

Organic Garden is located at 2 School Road, Mount Tamborine, QLD. It is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from 7:30am to 9:30am
